It seems not too far-fetched to think the author tumblred across my article giving Pittsburgh its props for hosting STRATA and contrasting it to Sleep No More. I also happen to know that a touch of 1:1-style immersive theater crept into Pittsburgh’s ScareHouse this year—though you could argue that haunted attractions have been creating immersive experiences for a very long time. Scary ones.
Call it transmedia or experiential or immersive interactive theater, I’m just glad it’s a thing.
